General Update. |

For those that may have missed the latest update on Facebook from the Melton Rural North Beat Officer, PC 4252 Dan DALEY, you will find it copied below for your perusal!
Many thanks as always for all your continued support.
Melton Rural North beat officer update: - Responded to a report of an assault taking place in a moving vehicle. - Investigated concerns about individuals interfering with badger setts. Thankfully, it turned out to be legitimate pest control work for a local farmer — all above board. - Responded to a report of a suspicious male aboard a train heading into Melton Mowbray. The train was held briefly while a thorough search of all carriages and toilets was carried out. I’ve never been stared at more, whilst walking through a train in my entire life! - And to top it off, PC 3009 Tranter (from the Rural South Beat) and I found ourselves “PINING” for a new role in “SPECIAL BRANCH” after discovering a rather large, and rather old tree that had been felled by the wind and as a result, was blocking the road. Thankfully, some "L-OAK-ALS" came to the rescue with a chainsaw and a Manitou, removing it piece by piece — we “WOOD” have stood no chance otherwise! For those curious, I’ve attached a photo of the tree to the FB post, with my telescopic broom professionally propped up against it for scale! A few more late shifts to go… | ||
